I was involved in two projects at Bank of Montreal. The first one was the migration of around 50 users and 26 million records (attachments, cases, notes) from a legacy proprietary CRM tool to Salesforce. This involved advanced data analysis to move the correct data out of the old system, building custom interfaces in Lightning for certain aspects of the solution (a.k.a. QAS lookup, order management) and speccing out downstream processes for the development team. This was the only project in two years at BMO to both track green throughout and be delivered flawlessly on time. The second project involved ‘rescuing’ a failing project relating to fund data. Working with a Salesforce BA and data engineer, we turned this round and delivered just before the change cut-off at Christmas as planned.
